Introducing "My Listings" and Listing Editor Updates

In response to your feedback, we have implemented several major updates to the My Listings and Listing Editor pages. These changes are designed to bring back the ease of use you expect, specifically addressing issues with photo management, breed selection, and site navigation. While the core features remain, we’ve refined the experience to be more intuitive, secure, and responsive to your needs.

The New "My Listings" Page

Your "My Listings" page has been redesigned to give you a clearer snapshot of your account status and listings at a glance.

  • Account Sidebar: Your Membership Status and a Verification Checklist help you quickly see if your ID, Email, or Phone Number need attention to keep your account in good standing.
  • Listing Cards: Instead of a list, your listings are now displayed as "cards." This format makes it easier to see your puppy’s photo, price, and engagement stats (views and messages) in one place.
  • Management Actions: To change the status of a puppy (e.g., moving it to "On Hold" or "Sold"), use the status dropdown located on the right side of the listing card.

Managing Your Photos

The Listing Editor now includes a dedicated "Management Mode" to give you more control over your images.

  • The "Manage" Link: To edit, rotate, or delete existing photos, you must first click the Manage link located directly above your photo thumbnails.
  • Rotating Images: Once in Manage mode, click any photo to open the editing window. You can now rotate your images 90° or 180° to ensure they appear correctly.
  • Deleting Photos: Select the photos you wish to remove by clicking the circle icon on the thumbnail (a green checkmark will appear), then click Delete Selected.
  • No Internal Cropping: To improve site performance, the built-in cropping tool has been removed. Please crop your photos using your phone or computer's image editor before uploading.

New Breed Selection (Tags)

Selecting breeds is now faster and more accurate using our new tagging system.

  • Breed Tags: Simply start typing a breed and select the correct match from the dropdown to create a teal breed tag.
  • Mixed Breeds Made Simple: When you select your first breed, a "Second breed, if mixed" field will automatically appear. To list a mixed breed, simply add the second breed into this new field.

⚠️ Critical Step: Save Your Changes

Whether you are rotating a photo, updating a price, or adding a breed tag, changes are not permanent until you save. Always scroll to the bottom of the editor and click the Save Listing button to ensure your updates are published.
