How do I send photos through the Message Center?

We recognize that sellers often need to send photos of a puppy to a potential buyer, so we've included a handy feature on Puppies.com: the ability to upload photos to send through the Message Center itself!

Only sellers can send photos, and the process is very simple:

  • First, login to your account and access your Message Center.
  • Next, locate the Conversation Thread with the user you wish to send photo(s) to. (If you need a hand learning the basics, check out our How do I use the Message Center? page.)
  • Next, click or tap the teal photo button to the left of the message box (i.e. the box where you enter text to send a message), then select photos to upload. You can upload up to 8 photos per message.
    • If you accidentally select the wrong photo, don't sweat! You can click or tap the red "X" in the corner of the photo thumbnail in the message box before you send the message in order to remove the photo.
    • If you'd like to add text along with your uploaded photos, click or tap the area above the photo thumbnails in order to do so; this can be a great way to provide context for the images you send.
  • Once you're finished, click the circular teal button to the right of the message box to send your message.

Please keep the following in mind regarding Message Center photo attachments:

  • Once sent, photos cannot be deleted.
  • As mentioned above, only sellers can send photos through the Message Center.
  • If you are a seller, you can attach photos in Conversation Threads regarding your own listings. However, if you have sent messages to other sellers regarding their listings, the photo attachment button will not be available in Conversation Threads regarding listings submitted by other sellers.
  • The photo attachment button is available in Conversation Threads for active "For Sale", "On Hold" and "Sold" listings. However, the photo attachment button is not available in Conversation Threads for listings which have been deleted.
  • Puppies.com accepts PNG and JPG photo files up to 10 MB.
