How much does it cost to list a puppy?
Puppies.com seller memberships fall into two distinct categories: Standard memberships and Premier memberships. Each category offers different pricing options and membership benefits.
Standard Memberships
When you create your first listing on the site, you receive a free 3-day trial of the Standard Membership if your account is approved by our staff. This trial membership is meant to provide new users with the opportunity to explore the site and try out different features we offer before making a membership purchase.
Once the trial ends, you can choose to continue with the Standard membership for either 1 month ($29.99) or 3 months ($79.99) depending on your individual needs. Our Standard membership options are not automatically rebilled: you are charged once at the time of purchase. Once your Standard membership time ends, the membership expires automatically and your account returns to the basic, non-upgraded level.

Standard memberships can be a great choice if:
- You only have one dog you need to rehome
- You aren't a professional dog breeder
- You prefer to avoid memberships with automatic payments
Premier Memberships
In addition to our Standard memberships, we also offer Premier membership options. These Premier memberships provide additional membership benefits which are not available through Standard memberships (please refer to our Help Center page here for a detailed breakdown of all Premier membership benefits).
Premier memberships are automatically rebilled monthly ($19.99) or annually ($199.99) depending on which Premier membership option you choose to purchase. Automatic payments for any Premier membership can be canceled at any time in order to prevent additional charges. There is not a minimum amount of time users are required to keep a Premier membership active, and there are no cancellation fees.
For instructions on how to cancel a recurring membership, please refer to our Help Center page here. Please keep in mind that deleting your listing(s) does not cancel recurring Premier memberships (as the membership is tied to your account itself, not a specific listing).
Premier memberships can be a great choice if:
- You are a professional dog breeder
- You plan on using your Puppies.com account year-round
- You prefer the convenience of automatic payments
- You wish to access additional membership benefits
A few final notes to keep in mind:
- If you purchase a single Standard or Premier membership, it automatically applies to all of your active listings. You don't need to purchase a separate membership for each individual listing.
- Puppies.com does not operate on a "commission" basis, so we do not charge additional fees based on each dog you sell through the site.
- "Boost" costs (i.e. the optional costs associated with "boosting" listings within city/state search results for better visibility) are entirely separate from Standard/Premier membership pricing outlined above. For more information, refer to our Help Center page about Boosting here.
