How do I update my payment information?

We understand that credit/debit card information can change over time. As such, if your Puppies.com account is upgraded with a recurring Premier membership but the card associated with the membership is no longer active or valid, we make it easy to cancel your current Premier membership so you can set up a new membership with your new card information.

To do so, the first step is to cancel your current recurring membership linked to the older/expired card.

To cancel your recurring membership:

  • Login to your Puppies.com account.
  • Access your "Membership & Billing" page through the circular icon containing three horizontal lines in the upper-right (if using a mobile device, tap the "Profile & Settings" option, and then tap "Membership & Billing").
  • Next, click/tap the "Modify Membership" link.
  • A window will appear asking you if you're sure; click "Confirm" to cancel your current membership. 

Please note: if you cancel a recurring membership, your paid-for time will remain active and your membership will not immediately expire.

Once you've canceled your current membership, you can then set up a new membership using your new card information:

  • From your "Membership & Billing" page, click on the membership plan you would like to purchase.
  • A pop-up box for your payment information will automatically appear. Use it to select one of your previously saved cards to be billed, or click "Choose another way to pay" to add a different payment method to use for your new membership charge.
  • Click "Pay Now" to proceed with the payment to upgrade your membership.

Please note: if you set up a new membership while your current membership is still active, the site will schedule a "pending payment" which will finalize once your current membership expires. You won't be charged immediately; instead, the charge will go through once your current membership ends, and your new membership will begin automatically.
