We are thrilled to introduce a major update to Puppies.com, designed to make finding and rehoming puppies safer, faster, and easier than ever before. While the site has a fresh new look, all your existing listings and messages are right where you left them.

Here's a look at what’s new:

Enhanced Account Security

To protect our community from account hijackings, we’ve added powerful new security layers:

• Two-Factor Authentication (2FA): When logging in from a new device, you’ll be asked to verify your identity with a 6-digit code sent via text, phone call, or email.
• 10-Minute Security Window: For your protection, these unique codes expire after 10 minutes.
• New Device Alerts: If your account is accessed from a new computer or phone, we will send you an alert email with the device type, time, and location.
• Trusted Devices: You can now view and manage every device logged into your account. If you see one you don't recognize, you can "Revoke" its access instantly.

A Cleaner, Faster Experience

• Fewer Ads: Logged-in members will now enjoy an entirely ad-free experience while browsing the site.
• Favorite Breeders: You can now "Favorite" specific breeders you love, making it easy to see their new litters the moment they are posted.
• Visual Breed Browsing: Our "Breeds" page has moved from a simple list to a beautiful Tile Layout, helping you find the right look for your next family member.

Improved Message Center

Talking to buyers and sellers is now much more intuitive:

• Photo Attachments: You can now attach photos directly to any Direct Message conversation.
• Smarter Threads: Conversations now show clear date dividers so you can easily track your history with a user.
• Instant Status Updates: Sellers can now change a listing's status (such as marking it as "Sold") directly from within the Message Center conversation.
• Detailed Message List: Your inbox now shows more information at a glance, including "Sold" labels on listings.

Streamlined Listings

• Smart Breed Entry: We’ve combined the "Breed" and "Mixed With" fields into one simple box. Just type in up to two breeds, and they will automatically appear as tags.
• Gender Icons: You can now see the gender of a puppy directly on the listing tiles while browsing.
• Identify Your Own Listings: To help you keep track of your active posts, your own listings will now be clearly labeled with a "Your Listing" badge.

Where is the Sign-Out button?

To make room for these new features, the Sign-Out button has moved! You can now find it by clicking the Menu icon in the upper right-hand corner of the site.
