How do I list or edit a puppy?

Once you've signed in, click "List a puppy" in the top menu. If you haven't already signed up, we'll give you a free 3-day trial membership to get started!

If you have already signed up as a seller, go to My Listings, then click "List New" if you're using a laptop/desktop or "New" if you're using a mobile device. Please note that sellers are required to have an active membership in order to create new listings or edit existing listings, so if you are having trouble, it's a good idea to check your membership status through your Membership & Billing page. 

How do I become a seller?

If you're not already a seller, click on "List a Puppy" near the top right of the screen. On mobile, tap the menu, then tap "List a Puppy." We'll give you a 3-day membership for free to try us out.

How do I get to my listings?

On a computer

Click on My Listings at the top of the page

On a phone

Tap the menu icon, then tap My Listings

How do I create a new listing?

Tap the orange "+ List New" button in the right of the screen. On mobile it's labeled as "+ New" and also orange.

Then, fill out the form with the following:

Puppy name

Give your puppy a name so he/she stands out on the site!

Born or expected on

The date of birth, or expected date of birth.

Breed

Your puppy's breed. If it's a purebred, just enter the breed in the first field. If it's a mixed breed, add the second breed in the "if mixed breed" field.

Price

The price of this individual listing.

Gender

Male or female. If date of birth is in the future, this will not be selectable.

Coat Pattern/markings

Describe your puppy's coat pattern, such as pied, brindle, solid, etc.

Colors

Choose the primary colors of their coat. You can select up to 3.

Characteristics

Select which characteristics you want displayed about your listing. This is a quick way for people to obtain essential information about your puppy.

Delivery options

Select which delivery options are available. Note that you must select at least one.

Describe this puppy and shipping / delivery policy

Here's where you can go into details about your puppy in ways that can't be described above, such as temperament and personality. It's also where you can give further details about how delivery, pickup, or shipping work for you.

Upload photos

Here's where you can upload photos of your puppy. You can add up to 10, and can set the primary photo by dragging and dropping the images after they've been added, as shown below:

Cropping or deleting a photo

You can crop or delete a photo by clicking or tapping on the photo thumbnail which will open a popup where you can do this. This works the same on a computer or phone. To crop, drag the handles over the area of the image you want to keep. To delete, click the Delete link.

Saving a listing

Click or tap the orange Post Listing button at the bottom left of the form. You'll get a confirmation that your listing has posted, which will also ask if you want to create a new listing, add another puppy from the same litter, or return to the My Listings page.

Clicking "Add another puppy from this litter" will create a new listing with some of it already filled out, saving you some time.
