How do I Change or Reset my Password?
Protecting your Puppies.com account begins with good password practices. This article will walk you through changing or resetting your password and offer tips for creating a secure one.
Changing Your Password (if you know your current password)
- First, login to your Puppies.com account.
- On a desktop computer, move your mouse cursor over the Menu Icon in the top right (i.e. a circle containing three horizontal lines). In the menu below, click Change Password.
- On a mobile device, tap the teal Menu icon in the top right (a circular icon with three horizontal lines inside). Then tap Profile & Settings, and select Change Password.
- Enter your current password in the 1st text field and your new password in the 2nd and 3rd text fields.
- Click/tap Save Changes.
Tips for Strong Passwords:
- Passwords are case-sensitive, so enter upper- and lower-case letters correctly.
- Choose a password that’s unique to Puppies.com (don’t reuse one from another site).
- Use a mix of letters, numbers, and symbols for better security.
Resetting Your Password (if you don’t know your current password)
- Sign out of your Puppies.com account using the Sign Out link at the bottom of the page. (If you don’t see the Sign Out, you’re already signed out.)
- On the Sign-In page, click Forgot Your Password? (or click here to go directly).
- Enter the email address linked to your Puppies.com account and click Submit.
- Check your inbox for the reset email and click the Reset Password button to be redirected to a new page to create a new password.
If You Don’t Receive the Reset Email:
- First, check your Spam, Junk, or Promotions folders in your personal email account. If you find the email there, move it back to your inbox.
- Add
support@puppies.com
andnoreply@puppies.com
to your Contact List in your personal email account. Once added, request the password reset again. Make sure you're signed out of your Puppies.com account before clicking the Reset Password button in the Reset email.
